Your "other blog" is great! I am pretty sure that you will have to find flax seed at a health food store. Make sure to use your flax seed ground up because the nutrients don't get absorbed if you don't have the ground stuff.
Also for the cookie recipe you don't have to have everything organic and you could substitute wherever needed if you don't have certain ingredients. I made them the other day and didn't have an apple so we went without. They were still delicious!
How was your green smoothie?
Jennifer - the smoothie was yummy. I just used my normal smoothie recipe and added some spinach - it needed more spinach though. It only had flecks of green in it. Kaylyn said she couldn't even taste the spinach. we'll see what she says after I add more.
