So I patiently waited as I knew it wouldn't last long. And there it is - her crawl. One foot and one knee. She goes everywhere she wants to go and everything she finds, goes in her mouth.

Get Ready, Get So, Go!
Morgan is officially mobile. And she does not like to sit still. I decided to capture her "crawl" on camera. So she immediately sat down and posed.

So I patiently waited as I knew it wouldn't last long. And there it is - her crawl. One foot and one knee. She goes everywhere she wants to go and everything she finds, goes in her mouth.

Gymnastics Meet
The first Saturday of November was the annual gymnastics meet at Kaylyn's gym. We signed Kaylyn up - she loved it last year and she's so much better now than a year ago. But Saturday morning, she woke up having a bad day. She didn't want to do anything. We figured she would improve once she got to the meet. We were wrong. She went with the other gymasts but didn't do her warmup. Miss Carrie had to move her like a rag doll. It was even worse when it was time for Kaylyn to actually do her routine. Again, Miss Carrie had a rag doll. Kaylyn was so scared from the crowd and all the other gymnasts. Usually her class is a maximum of 8 kids. But there was probably 50 to 60 kids there. Not counting all of the spectators.
All Star, though, is not a competitive gym. All participants earned a medal. And when Kaylyn's name was called to get her medal, she RAN across the mat! So here she is with her medal and with Miss Carrie. We are very blessed to have a teacher who loves Kaylyn unconditionally!
Isn't this adorable?
Kaylyn's bedtime routine.
1. Scripture story (soon to be scripture mastery verses)
2. Family prayer
3. 2 Stories with daddy
4. Read books by herself
5. Fall asleep.
One night Kaylyn decided to combine steps 4 and 5. We couldn't resist taking a picture.

Catching Up
It's been forever since I've updated the blog. Life has been so busy, both fun and sad. In October, my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I'm trusting the Lord to take care of him, but that doesn't remove the sadness and worry. On the same day, Adam's sister and her family had to evacuate their home due to the wildfires in San Diego County. That was on Monday. They were able to get back in their home on Friday. On the same day, baby William (Naomi's son) came home from the hospital. He was just shy of 3 months old and weighed 4 lbs 15 oz! And coincidentally, this all happened on my birthday.
The remaining posts are to catch us up on other happenings.
