Rolling Over is Exhausting

This weekend Morgan was rolling on to her side. We knew she was close. Tonight she successfully rolled onto her stomach from her back. Then got mad because she didn't want on her tummy and rolled back over. It may have been a fluke. We then let her continue to play while we ate dinner. After dinner, we came back to the living room to find this....

She apparently rolled back to her tummy and fell asleep. Not surprising after the workout she gave herself. We think we're in trouble.

Allison Family Visit

The first weekend in May, Grandma and Grandpa Allison came to visit, bringing Zeb and Alma (Or should we say Alma came to visit bringing Grandma, Grandpa and Zeb since Alma drove). We had a nice visit and on Saturday night, the Springfield Symphony Orchestra put on "Symphony Under the Stars" - a free concert in the park. So we packed up blankets and chairs and headed to the park.

Kaylyn enjoyed the concert, and also enjoyed cuddling with Grandpa. Isn't it nice for Grandpa to know that he's loved. Of course, Grandma also knows she's loved because Kaylyn spent all day playing with her.

After the concert, we did our traditional stop at Andy's Frozen Custard, which we think we've gotten Grandma and Grandpa addicted to. Andy's has now opened a location in Columbia - 610 N. Cooper Dr, basically Hwy 163 and Hwy AC. Maybe we'll be stopping on our way up to La Plata for the August family reunion.

Beautiful Baby

Everyone keeps asking for pictures of Morgan so here are some we took at the end of April.
This first picture shows how Morgan holds her hands - all the time.

And here we're trying to capture her smile.

More Remodeling

We decided to have the girls share a room and that Kaylyn's room wasn't big enough. So we moved everything out of the office and painted it yellow for the girls' new room. Here's Kaylyn and Adam painting the room. It is now complete, except for flooring in the closet, and the girls have moved in.

More Easter Egg Hunts

On April 7th, I took Kaylyn and Morgan to two Easter Egg hunts...The first was at Texas Roadhouse where Kaylyn got some candy and lots of tokens for a free kid's meal. We then went to the Kenning's house for an Easter Egg Hunt with their two kids and the Grandons. Kaylyn had a great time and found lots of eggs and came home with tons of candy. We made sure that each of the kids under 12 found an egg with a Texas Roadhouse token in it (and we still came home with some). Adam was at home that morning putting in a new sink in the girls' bathroom. Then fixing a leak at the water heater.

Easter Bunny at Nana's

On March 31st, The Cambridge (where Nana lives) hosted an Easter Egg Hunt. Kaylyn and Morgan both got to see the Easter Bunny. Kaylyn came home with lots of candy and gift certificates to Dairy Queen and McDonalds for ice cream cones.

Kaylyn loved showing off all her eggs to Nana.
