Catching Up - Stunt rider girl

It didn't take Morgan long to figure out her bike. This is in April - she likes to climb on her bike, by herself. Stand on the seat, hold on to the handlebars and rock!
And occasionally, we can get her to ride it "correctly." But she always has fun!

Catching Up - Pictures

So after the birthdays, we finally made it to the mall for pictures in March. There were so many awesome ones of Morgan, it was hard to choose. And while we waited for Morgan's pictures, we ran to another picture place for Kaylyn's pictures. The reason - I didn't want to spend any money. So we used free 8x10 coupons and got one picture of each girl.

Catching Up - Morgan turned 1!

So I'm trying to catch up on the blog....Morgan turned 1 on February 20th! Our camera had died so we only have a few pictures from her party and a big THANK YOU goes to Granny for these.

Here's her cake.... simple decorations but delicious.

Granny gave Morgan a Leap Frog - Tad's Safari Bus puzzle. She immediately tried it out, successfully.
Kaylyn was as (or more) excited to open the presents as Morgan was. Here, Kaylyn shows Morgan her Laptop from Mommy and Daddy. Our goal: use her own laptop instead of Daddy's.
And for her "big" present - Here is Morgan on her new BIKE! She loves this bike! And now we all 4 have bikes (I got mine in March).

Future celebrities

I saw this picture of Kaylyn and immediately thought she looked like a movie star.

And then this picture is Morgan on the phone with her agent.

Catching up - Sealing

I've been meaning to post about Morgan's Sealing since right after it happened. But lo and behold, it's now 2 months later and I'm finally doing it. Kaylyn's giving a talk in Primary on Sunday about Temples bless my family - so I probably should get one of these printed, in a larger size, so she can use it in her talk. It was cold so we have our coats on.

Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park

Kaylyn was invited to a birthday party on Saturday at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park. If you haven't been to this new park, you have to go! Kaylyn wasn't interested in her picture being taken in the actual barn (yes - with live animals). But I got her picture in the party room and on the playground.

As part of the party, a miniature horse and then two sheep were brought in for the kids to pet.

All decorating was done by the facility.

Cum Laude!!

Last night was Adam's graduation from OTC. We were so excited! Not only because he has a degree, but because we'll get to see him more in the evenings!

Adam's parents and 2 of his brothers came down to celebrate with us. They arrived about 3:30 pm. Grandma came with me to take the girls to Kaylyn's dance class. Adam took his brothers and Dad with him to the graduation (he was supposed to be there early). Adam signed in and the lady asked "Where are your ropes?" He was like "huh?". Turns out Adam graduated Cum Laude!

After dance class, we went over to Hammons Student Center and met up with my parents and grandmother. We didn't find Adam's Dad and brothers until halfway through the ceremony. We were blessed with decent length of time for the graduation ceremony - done by 7:30 pm.

Afterwards, we came back to our house for brownies and ice cream with Adam's family and the Kennings. (My parents headed home due to the hour long drive.) We had a great evening!!
